Steve is the owner of Victorian Car Buyers and the person who buys the cars. When you call 0455 776 443 you speak to him, and he is the one who gives you the offer. He has been in the motor trade for over 20 years.
Our Licence and Why It Matters
We hold motor car trader licence LMCT 12395. In Victoria, anyone who buys and sells cars as a business must be licensed. For you as a seller it means you are dealing with a business that is on the public register, and it is the reason you do not need a roadworthy certificate to sell to us.

How We Work
- We come to you, anywhere in Melbourne and across Victoria.
- There is no pickup fee.
- You do not need a roadworthy certificate, and you do not need to clean or repair the car.
- We pay on the spot by cash, bank transfer or bank cheque.
- If the car has finance owing, we pay the lender out.
- We look after the paperwork from start to finish.
- We usually pay between $500 and $30,000, and more for higher value cars.
We are open Monday to Friday 9am to 9pm and Saturday 9am to 6pm. We are closed on Sunday.
Where We Buy Cars
Our base is at 11 Mercer Ct, Delahey VIC 3037, in Melbourne’s north west. From there we cover the western suburbs, the northern suburbs, the south east, the eastern suburbs and regional Victoria.
